Ye’, it’s been like that for quite a few months now.

It’s almost always, 16 minutes after you posted something that you realise you spelled something wrong or the mobile you posted from did a sneaking spell check change on you without you noticing.

I think the text started showing up for me yesterday. I guess it’s helpful to tell people that? Seems like it’s not really critical info though, so I’m not sure cluttering things up makes sense, but on the scales of kinja changes, it’s not much to be worried about.

It’s been like that for years. I think the idea is gawker was always hoping somebody famous would say something dumb in res ponse to an article here, and then not be able to go back on it once they set their horde of mindless idiots on them, or something.

It’s like cars, mobile phones, etc... you only know something is there and it’s limitations when you go to use it.

The 15 minute limit has been there, but I think the text warning you about it is new (it certainly is for me).
